The luxuriant fragrance brand, Merhis Perfumes made its debut in Emirates Palace with an eponymous outlet at an exclusive launch event, which saw the unveiling and celebration of Merhis’ iconic collection of scents.

Its flagship scent Magnum Opus took center stage displaying poignant notes of bergamot, lemon, orange and Brazilian rosewood. Guests who harbored a fondness for oriental themes were drawn to the comfort of plum and citrus as felt in Eminence which carried underlying notes of patchouli, amber and oud making it a winner for the crowd.

Merhis also unveiled a collection of floral scents with its portfolio featuring Oeuvre that bubbles with pink pepper, orange blossom and jasmine, and Eclat that was a breath of fresh cherry blossom air, heavy with pear, rose and vanilla. Opulence and Iconic also crowd favorites were deep scents that enamored the audience with the powerful enigma of Papyrus, Brazilian Rosewood and Cardamom, and Indonesian Oud Wood, Leather and Cedar respectively.

Quoting a guest at the launch event, “I feel like the wearer can really make a statement with Merhis’ line of fragrances as it exudes a distinctive scent that wears differently from person to person. Merhis’ signature black and gold themed design comes in a bottle with a clean, circular base, rimmed with a gold band and gives way to glossy black layers that compose an air of opulence and sophistication.
