The Directorate General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police has called upon members of the community to not hesitate in requesting emergency assistance when needed by calling the Police Operations Rooms (999), or the “Aman” Service (8002626).  The Directorate General has also assured that it has enhanced and increased the deployment of security patrols in various shopping areas within the emirate of Abu Dhabi in order to secure the safety of all facilities through any means necessary and to increase customer satisfaction.  

Major General Omair Muhammad Ateeq Al Muhairi, Director General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, said that Abu Dhabi Police is keen to provide impeccable police services in consideration of every segment of society. “Everyone is vital and their contributions are a fundamental aspect of the success of police and security work, which aims to enhance the stability and security within the country,” he said. Pointing to the importance of promoting effective channels of communication, Al Muhairi encouraged fruitful cooperation between the public and the police authorities. “The police are always open and willing to discuss and adopt new ideas and initiatives from the public in order to enhance and develop police services in a distinguished way.” 

He added that Abu Dhabi Police always strives for continuous development and to improve the quality of services provided to the society as a result of the fruitful interaction.  Al Muhairi, while wishing everyone a happy and blessed Eid Al Adha holiday, also urged the public to cooperate with the police, as they are there to provide safety for everyone in order to avoid accidents.
