Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives honorary doctorate degree in service of Holy Quran and its sciences

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received the honorary doctorate degree in the field of the service of the Holy Quran and its sciences from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University.
The degree was handed over to the King by the University s Director and Member of Senior Scholars Council Sheikh Dr. Sulaiman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail when the King received him and the accompanying delegation of the University at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today.
Dr. Aba Al-Khail delivered a speech in which he addressed the King, saying that this awarding of the degree came as a culmination and appreciation for your great efforts and deeds and continuing support for all matters concerning the Holy Quran and its service, seeking for applying its orders, and keenness on enhancing the values of moderation, citing in this regard the global center for combating extremist ideology I tidal .
The handing-over ceremony was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet s Member Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani, and Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Assemi.
