DIFC Wills & Probate Registry welcomes global investors at the International Property Show Dubai

For the first time ever, DIFC Wills & Probate Registry will be participating in the International Property Show (IPS) taking place from 2-4 April 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE. (Hall 2, Stand IPS-G-25)

The Dubai property market has been showing continuous growth year-on-year*, yet only a small percentage of overseas investors and residents are choosing to protect their property assets through a DIFC Will. At the show, the Registry aims to educate property owners and investors, both locally and globally, on how to safeguard their assets in Dubai and RAK with a property Will.

Sean Hird, Director, DIFC Wills & Probate Registry said: “We are delighted to be participating in this year’s International Property Show. The date of the show coincides perfectly with the launch of our online property Will, whereby Property owners from around the world can easily register their DIFC Will via the website and protect up to five properties. We will be demonstrating this new online property Will at the show, and will be on hand to answer any questions that property owners and investors may have. The Registry is committed to supporting Dubai’s continued growth and development, as well as to providing asset owners with a solution that provides certainty and security.”The online property Will can now be accessed at www.difcprobate.ae and can be completed via smartphones, tablets or desktops within 30 minutes.
Registering a Will with the Registry is one of the basic steps that eligible asset owners in Dubai or Ras Al Khaimah should take as part of their life planning. Since its launch in 2015, the Registry has delivered over 2,100 Wills to international investors and residents looking to protect their future. To make the registration services simple and accessible to everyone, the Registry has recently partnered with Dubai’s largest Tas’heel Service Centre for “fast track” Will registrations, as well as with a number of leading national and international banks to offer zero per cent payment plans for registration.
