Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, has participated in a colouring therapy session during the Nad Al Sheba (NAS) Ramadan Sports Tournament held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council.

Dubai Culture participated in the event through a live painting session in collaboration with two artists – Ahmed Bolat and Abdulrahim Omar Ahmed. The final artwork will be gifted to Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, which reflects the Authority’s mandate to spread artistic and cultural awareness among the community and strengthen ties between governmental and non-governmental entities.

Through such initiatives, Dubai Culture aims to nurture talent and support the Emirate’s dynamic visual arts sector by making the most of the wide range of internal and external spaces available for showcasing artworks. The Authority's initiatives focus on supporting a new creative generation in the field of visual arts, and on making Dubai a city of happy, creative and empowered individuals.

 

These initiatives also contribute to improving lives in Dubai, as they enhance the city's position as a place where happy people are part of a community that empowers individuals and nurtures their talent.
