Kent College Celebrate Milestone in Construction

Where: Kent College Dubai project site, Al Ain Road, Nad Al Shiba 2, Dubai, UAE

Kent College Dubai celebrates being on time and in budget. The Head and Bursar of Kent College Canterbury have flown in to witness the pouring of the last section of the roof which is the highest point on the construction site.

Kent College partners Meydan MHK Education LLC FZ are delighted with the progress of the site which will open its doors to the first students in September.

Mr. Patrick Lee-Browne, Principal, Kent College Dubai stated, “Dubai is an incredibly exciting place for education, and a major attraction for me and for families who will join the school is the direct link with Kent College Canterbury. The vision for the school is based on the bonds between Dubai and the UK, not only for its ethos and culture, but also for an open exchange of ideas and sharing of expertise – and I’m looking forward to being part of that project. I’ve had wide experience in a range of well-known schools in the UK, and appreciate the increasingly global world in which pupils are growing up, so the role offers a great opportunity to put that experience to the service of the next generation of young people.”

In addition to providing students with high quality British Education Kent College Dubai will offer state of the art facilities: classrooms, laboratories, library, play areas, music and audio rooms, seminar rooms, reading rooms and an all season swimming pool. An international standard artificial turf for rugby, hockey and cricket will be available to all students along with a modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 458 seats.
