Taking place 8-13 November, 2021, Dubai Design Week is an annual week-long festival celebrating design and creativity in the UAE and beyond through an extensive programme of free-to-attend exhibitions, installations, engaging activities and pop-ups, talks and workshops, accessible for visitors at all levels.
With a varied programme of 200+ activities staged at the festival’s main hub in Dubai Design District (d3) and around the city, visitors can enjoy a diverse line-up of impactful experiences;
Take a look into the future through a multi-media exhibition that will teleport us through the next 20 years of Dubai, and meet the brightest minds coming out of the region’s universities, showcasing ideas and solutions to improve our lives.
Discover the latest in international design trends, with 130+ leading brands and designers exhibiting at Downtown Design, the region’s largest fair for original and limited-edition design and find out who will be the rising stars through 30+ commissioned installations, pop ups and exhibitions in d3.
oParticipate in a series of over 80 hands on workshops and masterclasses providing the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of activities and attend the daily talks programme featuring regional and international industry leaders exploring topics related to the rapidly evolving design landscape.
Participate in an array of experiences for visitors of all ages and all levels of skills; from over 80 hands-on activities, providing the opportunity to experiment with ancient and innovative ways of making, each activity curated with people and the planet in mind, to a programme of live music sessions, entertainment and interactive events at the Dubai Design Week Jazz garden, designed Meshary AlNassar.
Meet the region’s artisans, creatives and small businesses offering a curated selection of original and high-quality products at the weekend outdoor market and bring the kids for a host of activities from pottery to tree planting.
With a key focus on supporting the creative community in Lebanon this year, rising and established Lebanese design talent will be highlighted throughout the festival’s programme; from architectural installations and product design, to artisanal Lebanese delicacies at The Marketplace and outdoor music sessions at the Jazz Garden.
