Organized in partnership with Sharjah Business Women Council, the May edition of the Arabian Business StartUp Academy Sharjah Series will host Bel Pesce, founder of FazINOVA innovation and entrepreneurship school and author of the popular e-book ‘The Girl from Silicon Valley: How Entrepreneurship Can Change Lives.’

 

Hosted at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event will feature a panel discussion and expert sessions under the theme: ‘How to Kick Start Your Business.’  

 

Bel Pesce, a successful Brazilian serial entrepreneur and the author of the popular e-book ‘The Girl from Silicon Valley: How Entrepreneurship Can Change Lives’, will headline the forthcoming Arabian Business StartUp Academy Sharjah Series event, which takes place on Tuesday, May17.

 

The official programme will commence at 2pm with an opening address by HE Ameera BinKaram, Deputy Chairperson of Nama Women Advancement Establishment and Chairperson of Sharjah Business Women’s Council (SBWC), after which a high-level representative of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry will deliver a keynote speech. 

 

The ensuing panel discussion will feature a number of UAE-based experts and entrepreneurs, including Rabih Brair, managing partner at Tandem, and Mohamed Parham Al Awadhi, an award-winning Emirati filmmaker and adventurer. The invited guests will be sharing their wisdom on how to achieve product-market fit, acquire customers and develop sustainable and engaging marketing strategies. 

 

Pesce’s presentation, titled: ‘Modern Entrepreneurship: How Social Media Helped Me Send My Message across The World’ will be preceded by a talk from a successful Emirati entrepreneur. 

 

The Arabian Business StartUp Academy Sharjah Series is organised under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammad Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Nama Women Advancement Establishment, Founder and Patron of SBWC.

 

The Academy is a joint effort between SBWC and ITP Publishing to complement the work being undertaken by the council in growing the entrepreneurial spirit amongst youth, women and businesses of the emirate of Sharjah.
