18 Youth Ambassadors from the UAE visit AUDI AG

18 Youth Ambassadors from the UAE recently got a taste of Germany. The students from the Emirates visited AUDI AG in Ingolstadt. All of them are UAE Youth Ambassadors, a high-profile program under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The UAE YAP is organized by the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and carried out by the Goethe-Institute Abu Dhabi with the support of the German Embassy. The Emirati students are selected on the basis of their achievements, commitment and motivation by the Crown Prince Court Abu Dhabi and have been learning German at the Goethe-Institute in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

AUDI AG was one of many stops on their 3-week visit to Germany to improve their German language skills and to learn about Germany’s economy and culture. The future engineers, economic experts and diplomats had the chance to see Audi’s production plant and got an extensive tour. Furthermore they learned about sustainability and energy efficient cars at Audi.

In all of its business areas, Audi places great value on protecting the environment, maximizing efficiency and conserving natural resources. As an example the students saw the Audi A3 g-tron. The Audi A3 g-tron is part of a new, integrated and sustainable mobility concept from the brand with the four rings. Its 1.4-liter TFSI engine developing 110 hp can be operated using either natural gas, e-gas generated by Audi or gasoline. In pure e-gas mode the g-tron is entirely CO2-neutral.
