Abu Dhabi Police complete accidents rescue course

The Emergency and Public Safety Department at the Directorate General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police has concluded a course on “Modern Traffic Accidents Rescue Techniques”, aimed at enhancing the skills of rescuers and paramedics in the department and qualifying them to handle emergency situations.

Major General Ahmad Nasser Al Raisi, Director-General of Central Operations, attended the graduation ceremony held in Abu Dhabi. He stressed the considerable importance of the course in providing participants with the necessary skills and expertise to respond to emergency cases. “The course falls in line with the objectives of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy towards qualifying and training staff members in the various areas of police work.”

The course, which was organised in cooperation with the Training Department at Abu Dhabi Police, and in collaboration with the French Embassy, was moderated by Captain Thierry Roland and Lieutenant Bruno Gunkel from the French Civil Defence.

At the end of the ceremony, Major General Al Raisi awarded certificates to the graduates and urged them to exert additional efforts in discharging their humanitarian duties for the sake of saving lives.
