Atoll Energy during the WFES

Atoll Energy is introducing its worldwide innovation in polygeneration at the World Future Energy Summit to be held in Abu Dhabi starting next week. The event hosted by Masdar in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, from January 19 to 22. The company designs and commissions smart thermal grid solutions that ensure energy savings from 30% under operation. Their latest innovations will be presented at the upcoming event.

Two third of the fossil fuel energy used in power production from diesel generator is wasted in heat losses while most of the electrical consumption (cooling, refrigeration, hot water, desalination) could be supplied by heat driven machines. Atoll Energy, a French company, taps into this energy efficiency potential to supply for cooling, heating, and freshwater generation and therefore save energy.

Following the successful commissioning of the Quadritherm polygeneration platform at the «Cite des Energies” of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (the CEA, a French government-funded technological research organisation), Atoll Energy and the CEA will showcase the waste heat recovery and solar based energy solution under the aegis of the France Pavilion, the French agency for international development.

In particular, the CEA and Atoll Energy will present their solutions for a smart thermal microgrid with a solar thermal option.
