Bollywood star Malaika Arora Khan was among the VIPs, media and potential investors to visit the Nakheel stand at the Dubai Property Show in Mumbai today (Friday), where Nakheel is exhibiting properties worth over US$4.6 billion in construction costs.

Welcomed by Nakheel Chairman Ali Rashid Lootah and his senior management team, the actress marvelled at projects such as Deira Islands and The Palm Tower, just two of the Nakheel developments on show at the event.

Indian investors – the largest sector of foreign investors in Dubai property – already account for 11 per cent of Nakheel’s customers, so far purchasing 4,400 villas, apartments and land plots with a combined value of some US2 billion. Nakheel hopes to grow its Indian investor portfolio across the residential, retail and hospitality sectors during the three day event.
