Figures from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery in 2010 show that 923,599 hair restoration procedures were performed globally -- 672,391 non-surgical and 251,208 surgical. Between 2004 and 2011, the number of hair transplant procedures rose 454 percent in the Middle East and 345 percent in Asia.
