Dubai is hosting the second edition of the MENA Health insurance Congress and the third edition of the GCC Healthcare Innovation Congress  on 16-17 May in cooperation with the Executive Board of the Health Ministers for Gulf Cooperation Council and Maarefah.

The congress will be held with the support of a number of major healthcare organisation including Saudi Association for Health Informatics, Middle East Association for Facilities Management, Orion Health, TPP, Dell,  IMS Health and Truven along with the participation of 70+ regional and global experts as keynote speakers discussing the most important issues to support the development of the sector in the Gulf countries and focus on the major challenges and solutions for health insurance in the Middle East.

The focus of the MENA Health Insurance Congress is to overcome the regulatory challenges and bridge the gap between the operations and claims in the sector, develop an effective billing systems and payment to ensure the development of procedures in hospitals, seeing insurance companies to challenges and opportunities to shift the focus to e-health, regulatory measures to control fraud in the health sector in the region, the development of effective health insurance products that help to strengthen the engagement of the patient's access to better economic and clinical outcomes, the role of the pharmaceutical sector in improving results and revenues of health insurance, the growing role of data analysis in the insurance, along with many of the most important issues in this sector.

On the other side, The GCC Healthcare Innovation Congress will feature experts discussing the most important development initiatives from the healthcare sector in the Gulf including the integration of the strategic objectives of the public and private sectors in order to strengthen the  healthcare field, achieving the best results in health care taking into account lowering costs by focusing on developing health facilities in the region that gain access to international quality standards, achieving operational excellence unifying electronic health records, the effective management of chronic diseases by taking advantage from the population health initiatives.

The GCC Healthcare Innovation Congress a unique platform for facilitating innovation in connected health, featuring two different conferences: Healthcare Informatics Conference and Healthcare Management and Leadership Conference.
