Education Interface Exhibition in Al Ain with Wide Participation

The third edition of the Education Interface Exhibition is scheduled to kick off on Monday at the new headquarters of Al Ain Women’s Club, under the theme “2016 Year of Reading”. The exhibition will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior, with the participation of more than 80 governmental and quasi-governmental parties; private institutions; as well as educational institutions including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, and the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC). The exhibition, which is organized by Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club and Emirates Events, will continue until March 16th.

 

The exhibition aims at supporting the higher education, and establishing partnerships to serve the objective of building a knowledge and education-based society. It also aims to establish communication channels with educational institutions for the service of Emirati students and GCC students residing in the country. The exhibition also provides a great opportunity for high school students to get introduced the different educational options, training and academic programs offered by the universities and educational institutions, and to seek experts’ advice in choosing what best suits their interests and ambitions.

 

Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Mohammed Al Shimmari, Director of the E- Auditing Department, at the Security Support Department, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, explained the MoI’s ‘Smart Government Program’ will be participating in the exhibition with a pavilion  that showcases the  smart applications and e-services. Lt. Colonel Al Shimmari also stressed the commitment of the MoI’s Smart Government Program to review and develop all means of enhancing services, to allow customers to use the MoI services with ease, required speed, and extreme accuracy.

 

Lt. Colonel Al Shimmari explained that the ministry is working to become a model that is consistent with national plans and agendas, which makes good use of the best practices and available techniques. “The MoI is currently ready to sustain development, envision the future and enhance the customers’ experience and satisfaction through a comprehensive action plan to achieve success, in light of the national inclinations and the implementation the smart government’s national plan,” he said.

 

“The Smart Government Program at the Ministry of Interior is continuously exerting efforts to develop and implement smart services according to the best international practices. It also aims to support the government’s vision to place the UAE as one of the best countries in the world by 2021, in time for the UAE’s Golden Jubilee, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the nation,” he added.

 

Concluding, Lt. Colonel Al Shimmari noted that visitors of the exhibition will be acquainted with the smart e-services provided by the MoI. “This reflects the ministry’s keenness and unrelenting dedication to serving the various segments of society and acquainting them with the ministry’s services and ways to access them. These services utilize advanced and user-friendly techniques so as to allow the ministry to live up to its slogan ‘Our Services Within your Reach... Your Satisfaction is our Aim’ by providing smart e-services in a secure way, through a streamlined and convenient process that requires an Emirates ID card,” he said.
