Fashion Bazaar, an exhibition dedicated to fashion and perfumes, was held at the Marjan Island Resort & Spa‏ on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, under the patronage of HH Sheikha Mona Bint Saqr Al Qasimi, wife of HH Sheikh Sultan bin Humaid Al Qasimi and First Vice President of the Renaissance Women's Association in Ras Al Khaimah. The exhibition saw participation of famous brands from the world of fashion and perfumes.

More than 100 designers, mainly from UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait, took part in the Fashion Bazaar held from 7 – 9 January, in over 50 tents. Products on display were fashionable modern dresses and Abayas as well as perfumes from the 2015 collection.

Sumaya and her sister Najwa Al Hammadi, organizers of the show under the umbrella of ‘Sis Forever’ company said: “We witnessed good footfall from families and women, mainly from those looking for non-traditional unique dresses. Such exhibitions offer an ideal environment to develop small businesses.”


Al Hammadi added: “Fashion Bazaar recorded exceptional success, supported by the patronage of HH Sheikha Mona Bint Saqr Al Qasimi and high turnout. We appreciate the efforts of all those who contributed to the success, especially Renaissance Women's Association in Ras Al Khaimah and Marjan Island Resort & Spa‏.”


Engineer Abdullah Al Abdooli, ‏Managing Director at Al Marjan Island (AMI) company, said: “We are delighted to host such an exhibition and encourage women initiatives that support the UAE economy and offer business and development opportunities.”

Al Marjan Island is a wonderful masterpiece, with a picturesque location along the coast of Ras Al Khaimah, with distinctive views of the Arabian Gulf. It comprises four artificial islands that host residential buildings, private hotels and resorts and sports facilities, as well as entertainment centers and many global retail brands. The length of Al Marjan Island is 4.5 km stretching into the sea, with a total area of 2.7 million square meters.
