Hili Mall attracts hordes of visitors during Géant’s 10th anniversary celebrations

Attracted by the offers from French hypermarket chain Géant on the occasion of its 10th anniversary celebrations across UAE, hordes of visitors trooped into Hili Mall, Al Ain’s biggest community shopping centre, which is ideally situated next to the five-star, 254-room Hili Rayhaan Hotel by Rotana which boasts the highest number of hotel rooms in Al Ain city.

Géant is celebrating its 10th anniversary in the UAE in spectacular style, offering families the opportunity to enjoy an enriching experience at a 17-day shopping carnival that kicked off on 14 May, offering amazing prizes and an array of fun-filled activities.

The “Experience the World at Géant” shopping fiesta at Hili Mall will continue until 30 May, with the mega promotion offering hypermarket shoppers a variety of fresh food at attractive prices, as well as the opportunity to win a year’s housing rent and family holiday packages to exotic destinations.

“We have succeeded in establishing a strong presence in Al Ain competitive retail space in record time, as proved by the strong presence of international brands looking at Hili Mall to set up their presence in Al Ain,” says Khalid Shraim, General Manager of Hili Mall. “Bringing popular household brand names under one roof as well as the series of entertainment activities have created an attractive shopping environment.”

Shraim attributed the mall’s success to the pleasant shopping ambience it has created for the benefit of visitors and residents of Al Ain.

Hili Mall recently added new retail brands spanning diverse industries, including banking, as demonstrated by the presence of leading Abu Dhabi banks such as the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), Abu Dhabi National Islamic Finance (ADNIF) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB). Moreover, the strategy of diversifying the offers has also brought in series of new brands to the Al Ain retail market scene, such as debut-making E-Max, Fitness First, Geant Hypermarket and Mediclinic.

“We have taken the responsibility to play a major part in enriching the Al Ain retail experience. We have been able to bring some bit-time brands spanning different sectors, as reflected in the launch of Solidaire Restaurant and Reem Al Bawadi Restaurant and Café, two prestigious names in the hospitality industry in the Arab World,” added Shraim

“Big brands have chosen Hili Mall to set up their presence in Al Ain. For example, take the case of Geant Hypermarket: out of its 4 main branches in the UAE, one is in Hili Mall,” said Shraim.

Hili Mall organises entertainment activities regularly to boost its position as a preferred family destination in Al Ain. Shraim revealed that more new brands are set to enter the city’s market very soon through Hili Mall.
