Kia Middle East and Africa rewards its customers through exclusive VIP program


- Customers from the Middle East were rewarded with a VIP welcome and tour around Kia Motors birthplace and Namyang Research & Development Centre in Seoul

Kia Middle East and Africa has recently rewarded customers from the Middle East with a VIP trip to Korea to thank them for their loyalty and for providing valuable opinions about the all-new 2015 Kia Sorento.

The regional customers were flown to South Korea and given an exclusive VIP tour around the Korean city where Kia was founded, and were also escorted around the Hwasung Plant and state of the art Namyang Research & Development Centre. The #MyPleasureBySorento was a campaign initiated with the aim of honouring Kia’s loyal customers in this region and activated through Kia Middle East and Africa’s customer relationship management division.

Mr. Alex Chung, President of Kia Motors Middle East and Africa Regional Headquarters, said: “It gives us great honour and pleasure to reward our customers by taking them to experience Kia’s heritage and milestones in Korea. Our customers are our company’s fundamental reason for our successful existence and this is just one of the many ways we like to thank them for their loyalty and valuable feedback”.

The group had a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the manufacturing of Kia cars at the Namyang Research & Development Centre. The customers were also given the chance to test drive the all new Kia Sorento, the new SUV which was unveiled late last year in Jordan, and has qualified for the ‘Top Safety Pick’ IIHS award by achieving a ‘Good’ rating and has recently won the prestigious ‘iF Design” and “Red Dot” awards for its outstanding design.

Enjoying the quality package offered by Kia Middle East and Africa, one of the lucky customers said “I still cannot believe that I’ve been honoured with this fabulous treatment from Kia as a way of thanks. I’ve never come across a brand like Kia who does so much for their customers. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this fantastic experience and will always recommend Kia to everyone”.

Throughout the development of the new Sorento, Kia engineers focused on strengthening the bodyshell structure and improving NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) characteristics to increase refinement and create a tranquil travelling environment that is as sophisticated as the new model’s styling.

To match consumers’ rising expectations, Kia engineers worked to improve every aspect of the new Sorento’s driving experience, including a range of engine upgrades. Two engines are available with the new Sorento including a 2.4-liter and a 3.3-liter multi-point injection (MPI) engines. The two engines fitted to the all-new Sorento are designed to offer greater mid- and low-range torque, providing the smooth acceleration drivers have come to expect from an SUV.
