Linde Healthcare Middle East, a globally leading healthcare company unveiled ‘Integrated Sleep & Respiratory Care Centre’ concept at Arab Health 2015 (Stand No: Z3 G01 in the Tradex Pavilion, Zabeel Hall). The exhibition will run from 26th to 29th January 2015 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, UAE.
The Sleep & Respiratory Centre in Abu Dhabi is one of its kind in the UAE and will be the largest independent sleep diagnostic and treatment centre in the region. It has been established in order to further research into sleep disorders and offer solutions to those affected by this little-understood branch of medicine.

It is estimated that up to 45% of the population in the world suffers from some sort of sleep disorder, whether it’s insomnia, restless leg syndrome or sleep apnea. These conditions affect us in a variety of ways and can contribute to other morbidities such as hypertension, heart disease, stroke and diabetes as well as affecting our day-to-day life by causing poor concentration, reduced performance and life threatening accidents. Sleep medicine is a relatively new field of medicine and many causes of the sleep problems are still not fully understood.

Linde Sleep & Respiratory Centre will offer a ‘hotel-cum-home like’ environment for the comfort of its patients, in which their conditions can be assessed, investigated and treated. Using latest sleep diagnostic equipment, the American Board certified physicians and sleep technologists are able to offer a variety of procedures which follow American Academy of Sleep Medicine standards.

Linde Sleep and Respiratory Care Centre is our first major project in the region forming a platform to develop a complete respiratory care program. At the exhibition, Linde Healthcare Middle East is demonstrating how sleep studies are conducted and will explain the various areas which are studied during an investigation and diagnosis. The visitors are invited to discover more about how Linde Healthcare Middle East is laying foundations for the future in sleep research.
