Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas, the dedicated cinema arm of Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia today celebrated the launch of its second VOX Cinemas location in Riyadh, with the opening of its multiplex in Al Qasr Mall. 

 

As part of VOX Cinemas’ commitment to supporting local talent and Saudi movie fans, VOX Cinemas hosted a number of local content creators and popular YouTube, and Instagram personalities before opening its doors to the public. Influencers and vloggers were granted exclusive access to the event and were the first moviegoers in the country to watch the highly anticipated Captain Marvel. 

 

With a seating capacity of 1,294, VOX Cinemas in Al Qasr Mall features 15 screens, bringing the total number of screens in the Kingdom to 31. The multiplex offers VOX Cinemas’ signature KIDS and MAX concepts as well as a Nutella Bar. 

 

Integrated with the multiplex is Yalla Bowling, an innovative and fun concept by Majid Al Futtaim. Players can create personalised avatars and animate the entire game on the score screen. The venue will feature eight lanes, two of which are dedicated to families.

 

This announcement marks the second VOX Cinemas location in Riyadh and the third in Saudi Arabia overall, including in Red Sea Mall in Jeddah. VOX Cinemas will continue to deliver on its commitment of investing SAR 2 billion to bring world-class entertainment to the Kingdom.
