Millennium Plaza Hotel Dubai, one of the luxury accommodations along Sheikh Zayed Road, organized a blood donation campaign in an effort to educate the community about the importance of donating blood to help save lives and to collect blood for the community. 

 

The campaign was held on 25th November 2015 at the premises of Millennium Plaza Hotel Dubai along Sheik Zayed Road where a fully-equipped room with the latest medical equipment was set up to ensure the safety and well being of the employees.

 

Mr. Daniel Mathew, General Manager of Millennium Plaza Hotel Dubai, said:  “We value this campaign as a reflection of our total commitment in caring for the wellbeing of the community. As we recognize the imminent need of blood in times of emergency, it is a public duty which can have a lasting impact on our community. Through our annual campaigns we want to raise awareness and encourage individuals to save lives by donating blood.”

 

More than 75 participants from the hotel management and staff, alongside associates of the property donated blood and the number of donations collected was over 50 pints of blood, making the campaign productive and successful.

 

Blood donation is a noble act that contributes to saving thousands of lives without causing harm to donor. Millennium Plaza Hotel Dubai would like to thank everyone who took part in this noble initiative.
