Niyama Private Islands Reopens In The Maldives Offering Space, Privacy And Its Renowned Laid-back Vibe

Niyama Private Islands Maldives has reopened its doors offering guests an abundance of space, privacy and exceptional island experiences, all with the laid-back vibe the resort is known for.

With two islands – Chill and Play, Niyama perfectly blends adventure with serenity in Nature’s Playground. On Chill guests can hide away and indulge in world class spa and wellness services at Drift Spa or take in a movie under the stars at the outdoor cinema. While on Play, adventures await above and below the ocean’s surface.

Privacy is – and always has been – paramount at Niyama, with every one of Niyama’s 134 accommodations providing a secluded retreat. The jewel in Niyama’s crown is the magnificent Crescent, a private playground of five ultra-chic pool villas, accommodating up to 14 adults and eight children, providing the perfect paradise treat for the discerning traveller looking for space and privacy to share with extended bubbles of family or friends.

Niyama is the one of the only luxury resorts in the Maldives with surfable waves and reopens during the midst of the surfing season with an exclusive surf event. From October 12-18 the resort hosts Lost Surfboards shaper Matt Biolos, along with several big-name surfers, so guests can surf the waves or hang out in the surf shack with the pros and get a custom designed Lost surfboard.

Guests at Niyama Private Islands can feel safe in the knowledge that the resort is in line with WHO and local health authority regulations, in addition to implementing enhanced levels of sanitation and disinfection throughout the islands, ensuring peace of mind.
