Plan B Steers Future Plans for The Diplomat Business Club

Global expansion, annual Gala Awards, and a charity initiative were announced as future plans of the Diplomat Business Club (DBC) at its quarterly business forum that took place at the Address Hotel, Dubai Mall. The chief guest at the event was H.E. Zayed Al Zayani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who was accompanied by H.E. Emad Madani, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and the Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and H.E. Ambassador Javed Malik, President of DBC.

 

Established in the UAE, DBC is a premium social and business network for diplomats and business leaders in the region. Dubai based Plan B group has joined hands with DBC to be its strategic arm steering the international expansion across the UK, China, Turkey, Bahrain and other SAARC countries. 

 

With a wealth of experience in developing and executing events, exhibitions, CSR campaigns, and communications strategies, Plan B will direct and execute the annual Diplomatic Business Awards, scheduled to be launched in November 2016, which will honor remarkable businesses and business leaders in the region. 

 

Harmeek Singh, owner and founder of Plan B said, “Plan B is honored to be on board as the strategic partner for The Diplomat Business Club. Our experience and expertise will be vested in garnering further success for DBC’s activities, events in the region and its new locations. I am certain that DBC’s presence in these locations will create an effective diplomatic and business network that will be beneficial for all members globally”. 

 

“The Awards will recognize stalwarts of the diplomatic, and business community in Dubai who excel in driving and developing business in their respective sectors. The judging panel will consist of renowned diplomats and business leaders from the region,” continued Singh. 

 

Mr. Singh also announced DBC’s new charity plan “Wanna Read?”, a division of the H.H Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Humanitarian & Scientific Foundation and spearheaded by Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.

 

Wanna Read?” creates warm, friendly and stimulating environments, filled with an abundance of books, in hospitals across the UAE, to help children through their healing and rehabilitation. 

 

“It is an honor to pledge Plan B and DBC’s allegiance for this noble cause to ensure that we raise a future generation of leaders, thinkers and innovators,” concluded Mr. Singh.
