Roy Dennis Gadsby recorded the best score of the day in the individual (Division A) stableford format to clinch the 13th edition of Dulsco Classic, one of the oldest corporate Golf tournaments in the UAE. Paul Maycock took home the honours in the Division B category. In the team category, Howard Hurrion, Roy Dennis Gadsby and Patrick McCarthy were crowned as champions after reaching a total of 92 points. A large group of corporate golfers participated in the tournament which was held at the prestigious ‘Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club’.

 

S.Balakumar, Managing Director, Dulsco, said: “Corporate Golfers at Dulsco Classic have come a long way and they cannot be referred to as amateurs anymore.  They are champions and they have impressed other fellow golfers with their skills both on and off the field. Golf is not just a game but a great way to bond and compete at the same time”.

 

This year, the event witnessed some serious head-to-head clashes with intense competition among the corporate golfers. Dulsco Classic tournament is one of the most awaited tournaments of the season among the UAE business community.

Division A: Individual Stableford winners (Handicap 0 – 18):

First runner up        : Graham Hurdon

Second runner up    : Howard Hurrion

 

Division B: Individual Stableford winners (Handicap 19 - 36):

Winner            : Paul Maycock

First runner up        : Mudit Saxena

Second runner up    : Manraj Bindra

 

Team Stableford winners:

Winner    s        : Howard Hurrion, Roy Dennis Gadsby and Patrick McCarthy 

First runner up        : Alan White, Lal Premaratne and Paul Maycock

Second runner up    : Jamal Bin Marghoob, Khalid Al Halyan, Harini White and Mini Philip

Nearest the Pin Hole #5 was won by Per Ola Simensen, Pin Hole #14 was won by Howard Hurrion, Pin Hole #16 was won by Matthew Allen and Pin Hole #8 was won by Simon Earl. Longest drive to Pin Hole #4 was won by Simon Earl again and Pin Hole #12 was won by Rahul Kitson.
