Majid Al Futtaim - the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa – marks City Centre Deira’s 20th anniversary with a memorable concert delivered by Saad El Mjarad, followed by an elegant dinner attended by VIP guests, retail partners and members of the media.

 

Guests were entertained by the Moroccan celebrity as he took to the stage at City Centre Deira to perform a show-stopping line up. With more than 78 million YouTube views of his 2015 single, ‘L’M3ALLEM’, a Murex D’Or win for ‘Best Arabic Song’ and a 2014 MTV Europe Nomination, the Moroccan singer captivated the audience in an atmosphere of celebration, and marked the event by a cake cutting. 

 

Following the concert, Majid Al Futtaim hosted a glamorous dinner, held at the Pullman, City Centre Deira. Attended by VIP guests, retail partners and members of the media, the exclusive event marked City Centre’s milestone of two decades as a pioneer of retail experiences, transforming the face of shopping, entertainment, leisure and convenience across the region, and developing iconic landmarks that are globally recognised. Guests at the private event were treated to a special performance by Saad El Mjarad as well as celebratory entertainment including carnival lights and confetti balloons, all culminating towards a lively and commemorative evening.
