Saudi Energy Minister to Bloomberg Television: Premature to Say if OPEC+ to Cut Output

In an interview with Bloomberg Television, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih said it was premature to say if OPEC+ will cut output.

Speaking to Annmarie Hordern, Al-Falih added:

  • Uncertain what size supply cut the world needs
  • It’s OPEC+ job to provide stability to market
  • French unrest is a result of unreasonable energy taxes; very sad to see impact of energy price in France
  • Saudi crude production in 11m to 11.2 b/d range
