The scholarship is part of SportsOne’s “Back to School” promotion

 

As part of its efforts to spread a sports culture among the youth, SportsOne, the multi-brand sporting goods retailer, part of Landmark Group, will celebrate the back to school season with a scholarship/promotion that will see 20 students going away with sports items worth AED100000 in total.

SportsOne’s initiative aims to encourage students acquire a sports-oriented attitude and provides them with the opportunity to further pursue their passion towards sports and exercising.

“We are committed to nurturing a sporting culture in the region and encouraging the youth to adopt an active lifestyle to stay healthy, optimistic and successful. They say habits acquired in your younger years are hard to get rid of and hence we believe that being passionate and nurturing the love for Sports right from the young age is one of the best habits”, said Shivam Goyal, COO, SportsOne.

“We always aim to create unique value for our community and this initiative creates yet another opportunity to encourage the youth to practice sports and lead a healthy and happy lifestyle. At Sporstone we believe in creating opportunities to help each and everyone fulfill their fitness goals” added Goyal.

The scholarship/promotion program will kick off on July 26th and will last for two months during which 20 lucky students who shop at SportsOne stores worth AED250 will stand the chance to win the Sportsone gift vouchers, each worth AED5000, in addition to a guaranteed gift of Flamingo stationery Pack and a Polar Water Bottle. The total Value of the Gift vouchers that will be given away through a Raffle Draw will reach AED 100000.

In addition to its current outlets strategically located across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, SportsOne will be launching two more stores; a first one in Naeem Mall in RAs Al Khaima by the mid of August and a second one in IBN Battuta Mall in Dubai by the end of 2015.
