SUNSET TO SUNRISE: EXPERIENCE THE SPIRIT OF RAMADAN

The Terrace at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi, invites guests to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan together with family and friends and embark on an unparalleled gastronomic journey through Arabia. Located on the ground level of the hotel, the vibrant dining destination has created a specially crafted Iftar menu including a myriad of theatrical live cooking stations and an array of delectable flavours from across the Middle East.

From the first sighting of the moon in late June until late July 2015, guests can discover the perfectly executed festive feast which will be brought to life with modern-Arabia inspired music and a wide array of freshly prepared shishas. Keeping the concept of ‘social dining’ at the heart of the culinary experience, the breaking of the fast will commence with a chef’s daily sharing mezze.

Guests can then journey between stations, sampling flavours from Turkey, Iran, Armenia, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Morocco. Highlights include Kashgeh Bademjan, salt crusted Hammour, slow roasted lamb Ouzi, all priced at AED 150++ per person. For those with a sweet tooth, a feast of traditional Arabian desserts awaits from the cheese Kounafa (a sweet and savoury dessert made with cream cheese and syrup), to the Muhalabiah (Lebanese milk flan) and a vast range of baklava and Katayef. As a special touch, the team of talented Chefs have created a selection of global favourites with Arabian panache including the date crème brulee, pistachio opera and saffron date cakes.
Late diners can also take full advantage of The Terrace’s a la carte suhoor menu which will be offered from 11pm until sunrise. The Terrace on the Corniche can be accessed via The St. Regis Abu Dhabi lobby or from the private entrance on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
