St George’s University To Participate In Gulf Education Confab

St. George’s University is a center of international education, drawing students and faculty from over 140 countries to the island of Grenada, West Indies.  St. George’s is affiliated with educational institutions worldwide, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Ireland. 

 

The University which is participating in the 7th Annual Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition on 20-21st February at the University of Business and Technology (UBT), Jeddah has all its programs accredited and approved by many governing authorities.

 

 St. George’s pioneered the concept of international medical education and remains at the forefront of educating students to meet the demands of the modern practice of medicine.

 

The University was the first private medical school in the Caribbean, and the first to be accredited by the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and Health Professions (CAAM-HP).

 

Its more than 15,000 graduate physicians in the global health care system have been licensed in all 50 states and Canada, and have practiced in over 50 countries around the world.  

 

Graduates of the medical school are often matched in the residencies of their choice and in the past seven years combined, St. George's University has placed more doctors into first-year US residency positions than any other medical school.

 

The two-day Gulf Education Conference is committed to supporting global education programs through student recruitment as well as facilitating partnerships between international institutions, academies, schools, and universities with Ministries of Education from the MENA region.
