DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel and Residences Unfolded the Season of Festivities

DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel and Residences kicked off the holiday season with a traditional Christmas Tree lighting, the first festive season of the hotel after celebrating its first anniversary in October. The event was attended by the children from different organizations including the families staying at the hotel. Entertainment was provided by the Hotel Team Choir who sang famous Christmas Carols and also featured Santa Claus arriving with his goodies and gifts for the kids.

Ligia Brasoveanu, General Manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront said, “We are excited to have our own Christmas Tree lighting to open the festive season at the hotel and are looking forward to welcoming many guests during this special time of the year.”

“I am really pleased that such a big crowd were able to join for the event and to see the happy faces of the children. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank our supporter Babyshop for supporting our event by providing the gifts for the children,” Ligia added.

Santa joined the celebration to spread joy and gifts amongst all children in the hotel. The Christmas Tree became brighter after Santa Claus lit it up with the decorated gift boxes under the tree adding to the festive air. 

The DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel and Residences Pastry team took much pride creating the gingerbread house, which is displayed at the lobby and preparing seasonal specialties like cookies and cakes that are available at Banyan Café. It was also the perfect backdrop for a photo session with Santa rounding up a heart-warming night at the hotel.
