Dubai Courts announces launch of new mobile service

In line with its continuing efforts to make its customers happy and satisfied with the services they offer, Dubai Courts has revealed the launch of its new ‘On Demand’ initiative, a new program that looks towards facilitating legal procedures for the elderly and for people with special needs. The initiative includes a full portfolio of mobile-based services that ensure a unique and distinct experience—faster and smoother transaction of services for its subscribers. ‘On Demand’ reflects Dubai Courts commitment to enhance the quality and efficiency of its services, particularly in the move to help provide easier and faster ways to process legal proceedings for the elderly and the disabled, which in turn helps them save on time and effort in pursuing official transactions.

According to Dubai Courts senior officials, the new initiative covers the delivery of services straight to the doorsteps of the customers. Users entitled to the new service include individuals holding a ‘Sanad’ and ‘Thukher’ card, which is issued by the Community Development Authority and for those holding a ‘Disabled Card,’ which is issued by Ministry of Social Affairs. Services that can be availed of include notary public, case applications, lawsuit filing and personal documentation. The 'On Demand' initiative represents a strong push to enhance customer confidence in the judicial system, especially the elderly and persons with special needs, as they constitute an important segment of the UAE society.

H.E. Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, Director General, Dubai Courts, shared that the newly launched initiative is a culmination of Dubai Courts initiatives that have been developed to provide innovative services designed to leave positive change within the local community. He further pointed out that the program falls in line with Dubai Courts' commitment towards national development, especially in the efforts to ensure integration of the elderly and the disabled into society--supporting them and helping them further contribute to the overall development process led by the UAE, in line with the vision of the country's wise leadership.

“We are upbeat that our new initiative will undoubtedly have tangible results in terms of making customers happy and bringing prosperity to the community, in accordance with the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has placed the happiness of the people at the forefront of the national priorities. In order to identify the strengths and weaknesses in providing services, we will directly communicate with the beneficiaries of our ‘On Demand’ initiative to monitor their satisfaction levels and continue developing new solutions that would ensure the provision of accessible legal services to achieve our vision, ‘Pioneering & Internationally Distinguished Courts,’” concluded Al Mansouri.
