Dubai Customs fulfils the wishes of 25 orphans of Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation

Out of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Dubai Customs has taken a goodwill initiative to realize the  wishes of 25 orphans  from the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (Tamkeen). The move comes in support of “Sidreh of Wishes” initiative launched by Tamkeen to fulfil the wishes of 1000 orphans during the past month of 2016.

This endeavour stems out of Dubai Customs’ keenness on establishing viable networks and partnership with local organizations and community at large.

Director of Corporate Commination Department, Khalil Saqer bin Gharib stated that this undertaking is in line with the deep belief of Dubai Customs to bestow happiness upon all members of society whenever possible.

“The realization of 25 orphans’ dreams was set up in participation of DC employees who are moved by their sense of duty towards the community and the compassion to assure happiness for those orphans at the advent of Eid Al Adha,” Khalil Saqer said.

Some of the wishes included Umrah, learning electronic devices and much more. Those wishes reflected upon the maturity level of those orphans and their piety and futuristic way of thinking.

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation hailed Dubai Customs efforts in support of orphans and in making genuine effort to endorse their wellbeing. They also praised DC’s commitment to implanting social solidarity values to its members.
