Experience a true taste of Lebanon this Ramadan at Al Nafoorah

Al Nafoorah invites guests to savour a tantalising array of Levantine-inspired delicacies this Ramadan with daily Iftar and Suhour served amidst the elegant ambience of the restaurant’s terrace marquee. 

 

Gather friends, family and colleagues to share the spirit of the holy month by enjoying a gourmet selection of authentic Lebanese dishes and beverages. The all-inclusive Iftar buffet begins at 7pm* with a choice of traditional breaking fast drinks such as Butter milk, Jallab a date, grape, rose water refreshment or Qamar el din, apricot juice, followed by a light course of lentil or chicken soup. 

 

Al Nafoorah’s lovingly-prepared cold and hot mezzeh are guaranteed to satisfy all tastes and cravings with time-honoured favourites including Loubieh Bi Zeit tasty green beans in oil, Moutabel a delicious and spicy aubergine dip and Zaatar salad, found in all Lebanese rural homes, served alongside classic creations such as pastry filled bites, Spinach Fatyer, and tender Chicken Shawarma. An impressive array of exquisite main courses awaits, from Beef Bedfeen stewed meats with chickpeas and Daoud Basha, meatballs with pine nuts in rich tomato, to Chicken Kabsa a fragrant Arabic dish of rice and chicken. Favourite Mixed grill options and spicy fish plates including Samkeh Harra are on offer, while the mouthwateringly-fall of the bone whole Lamb Ouzi Carvery is sure to impress!

 

Round off this unforgettable Iftar buffet with traditional desserts and pastries such as; Um Ali a vanilla tasting bread pudding style dish including raisins and almonds, Konafa, Awammat a honey coated sweet treat, Warbat Ashta fresh cream filled pastries and Riz Bil Halbib, rice pudding with rosewater and pistachio. Setting the stage for a treasured epicurean celebratory feast.

 

After a brief closure the Ramadan marquee will re-open for Suhour between 9.30pm and 12.30am during which time guests can indulge in a light snack menu and smoke shisha. Al Nafoorah’s regular à la carte menu is available throughout Suhour in addition to a choice of three, special set menus (for a minimum of four people). Each promising a dazzling assortment of mezzeh starters including Hoummous and Baba Ganoush along with Shanklish a Levantine cheese, Kibbeh Middle Eastern spices and ground minced meat patties, along with soul warming feta and cheese filled Sambousak,  

 

For main course, enjoy a platter of Hammour, grilled fish and Shrimps along with succulent Lamb Kebab, Kofta and grilled chicken Shish Taouk accompanied by traditional Lebanese and Saj bread. A selection of tempting desserts including Ashta Bil Assal, fresh cream with honey, sliced fresh Fruits and Arabic Sweets completes this gourmet Suhour dining experience.      

 

Iftar will be from approximately 7pm (*exact timings vary each day) until 8.30pm. Al Nafoorah’s Iftar buffet is priced AED210 per person inclusive of non-alcoholic Ramadan beverages.  

 

Suhour will be from 10pm until 12.30am and is priced AED300 per person for the Sidon set menu; AED375 per person for the Beirut set menu; and AED275 for the Jbeil set menu. All three Suhour set menus are for a minimum of four people, or. the à la carte menu is also available. Shisha and the à la carte menu are also available from Iftar.

Please note there will be no live music or entertainment at Al Nafoorah during Ramadan.
