L’azurde Surprises Mums With Personalized Children Designed Jewelry This Mother’s Day

L’azurde, the Middle East’s largest gold and diamonds jewelry designer, manufacturer and distributor, celebrated the bond between mother and child by surprising ten patients from the Zahra Breast Cancer Association with a unique gift for Mother’s Day. 

L’azurde has launched this year a competition during the Mother’s Day to give children the chance to express their love for their mothers in the most genuine and special way.  And part of its CSR plan, L’azurde sponsored the drawings of ten children who were given the chance to have their drawings crafted into gold pendants as a special gift for their mothers who are receiving treatment for Breast Cancer.  At an event hosted by the Zahra Breast Cancer Association in Riyadh, supported by the leading Saudi figure and Arab media personality in the middle east Muna Abusulayman and Saudi’s own lifestyle influencer Rand Hamed, L’azurde CMO May Kanounji surprised the mothers with the unique pieces capturing their children’s gratitude and celebrating love and joy on this unique day.

The CSR initiative is part of L’azurde’s 2019 brand campaign, “My Path, My Choice” which encourages women to see beauty in their reflections and have the confidence to shine in all their roles.

May Kanounji, CMO of L’azurde commented on the occasion, “L’azurde’s vision is to support women on all their journeys, however challenging.  Mother’s Day is one of the best occasions to express our love for the women who gave us everything and what better way to do so than say it in gold.” 

“Working with the patients of Zahra Breast Cancer Association was extremely rewarding and we hope to continue to spread the message of support and empowerment to all women in the Arab world, no matter what their walk of life.”

L’azurde also invited other children from KSA and Egypt to submit drawings expressing their love and gratitude for their mothers. Over 500 submissions were received and ten winning drawings were selected from each market. L’azurde designers and jewelery makers turned those drawings into exceptionally grafted gold necklaces that will be delivered to mothers for Mother’s Day.
