Media Rotana, Dubai organizes a charity Iftar On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan

Within the "Open Hands of Hope" initiative, which aims to bring happiness to the hearts of labourers

 

Media Rotana, Dubai hosted a charitable iftar for the hardworking labourers of Dubai Municipality on the evening of March 28, 2023. The event was held in partnership with Nashama UAE, a social enterprise that focuses on uplifting the lives of blue-collar workers.

 

The Iftar event was made with the support of Saudi German Hospital, Stories Arabia and The Little Things, most esteemed organizations that share the same vision of giving back to the community. The event was attended by over 50 labourers from various areas of Dubai.

 

Media Rotana's General Manager, Sherif Madkour, said: “We are proud to have hosted this charitable iftar event in partnership with Nashama UAE, Saudi German Hospital, and The Little Things. It is a testament to our commitment to corporate social responsibility and community outreach. We wanted to show our appreciation and gratitude to the hardworking labourers of Dubai Municipality, who play a crucial role in the development of this city. He also pointed out that this visit comes as a part of the “Open Hands of Hope” initiative, we hope this event provided them with an opportunity to feel valued and appreciated".

 

Bader Al-Ustad, deputy of the Nashama Al-Emarat Volunteering Team, said, "We, the Nashama Al-Emarat Team, value the importance of cooperation and partnership in the field of volunteering and charity services, such as what happened in our partnerships with Media Rotana, Dubai.

 

He added, "Our role is to consolidate the importance of volunteering and humanitarian work in the UAE by providing facilities and initiatives aimed at spreading happiness in the hearts of the target groups, including workers, children, the elderly, people of determination, and others."

 

Hassan Tamimi, Managing Director of The Little Things, said, "We are proud of our partnership with Media Rotana, Dubai in organizing charitable initiatives that reflect the importance of corporate social responsibility, and emphasize the role of Emirati society in providing good, especially during the holy month of Ramadan."

 

He added, "As gift shops, we play our community role, which is a priority for us, with the aim of spreading joy among the target groups through our cooperation with various entities, including Media Rotana, Dubai."
