VeggieBuzz.com, a revolutionary website for vegetarian diners, is set to launch on October 1, transforming the way non-meat eaters search for and discover great places to eat in the UAE.

 

VeggieBuzz.com is the country’s first online platform for anyone interested in vegetarian food, be it non-meat eaters or health conscious diners and contains hundreds of restaurant reviews, delicious recipes and in-depth features, covering topics such as juicing, affordable eats and where to find Dubai’s tastiest falafel. There are also interviews with world-class chefs who share fascinating insights into global trends in the vegetarian dining scene.

 

Lively and engaging, the website encourages users to post reviews of both vegetarian-only outlets and regular restaurants with select vegetarian offerings.

 

Founder, Sumati Menda, says, “I’m so excited to be launching the user portal for VeggieBuzz.com. I grew up in a vegetarian family and we always struggled to find delicious meat-free food outside vegetarian restaurants. In recent years, I noticed a surge in the number of vegetarian dining options and I wanted to create a platform where all of these were listed on one dedicated website. And so VeggieBuzz.com was born.”

 

Sumati, a lawyer by background, plans to make the portal the region’s number one resource for vegetarian dining. Created in 2014 as a blog, VeggieBuzz.com received consistently high amounts of traffic, prompting Sumati to dramatically expand the site and transform it into a source of reliable listings, imaginative recipes and inspired editorial.
