NAFFCO employees in Dubai celebrated the 44th National Day of the United Arab Emirates. On Tuesday, the recognized international leader in the production of safety solutions marked the formal nationalisation and the federal unification of the seven emirates that created the UAE.

The multinational company was founded in Dubai and embodies the pioneering and innovation spirit of the UAE. NAFFCO is a dynamic company that brings together state of the art engineering, up-to-the-minute technologies, unbridled creativity and a mission to make the world a better and safer place. Therefore, observing the occasion by celebrating the cultural heritage and amazing success of the UAE is integral to the company. 

NAFFCO CEO, Eng. Khalid Al Khatib, gave the keynote address for the festivities, reiterating the importance of marking National Day and espousing the successes of the UAE. More contributions followed from NAFFCO senior management and personnel with speeches from Mr. Ahmed Al Khatib, Mr. Ali Al Khatib and Eng. Emad Kassab. Poetry was recited and the NAFFCO song was sung with unity and spirit. The celebrations from the different nationality employees of NAFFCO symbolised the happy spirit of the Union. 

Other highlights of the day’s festivities included the singing of the UAE National Anthem followed by two minutes of silence prayer to mark the lives and sacrifice of the UAE Martyrs. The celebrations culminated in a competition for Best Costume in UAE National Dress for males and females, a quiz on the history of the UAE, a performance of UAE national dance and henna design for the ladies.  

Speaking after the celebrations, CEO Eng, Khalid Al Khalib said, “We at NAFFCO are a dynamic company – our maxim is a Passion to protect - and this enthusiasm filters into every aspect of our company history and our cultural history.
